PART VI: TRUTH
5.1 Truth is of being
Truth is aletheia, a feature of reality. Human claims are true insofar as they participate in that disclosure. Participation scales; correspondence does not become identity at the limit.
5.2 Partiality
Two senses in use and one must be chosen, or both named and kept separate:
Fragment. An incomplete but wholly accurate account.
Mixture. An account combining true and false content.
Certain aspects use mixture; the glass-darkly imagery uses fragment. The distinction is operational, not cosmetic: a single falsification destroys a fragment entirely and only trims a mixture. This is the most consequential open item in the document, because it governs how the primary instrument behaves.
Mixture is the correct interpretation because the fragment analogy is irrelevant and only meant to be illustrative of the fact of partiality, not the nature of it. A fragment of gold not only can be found in a large quantity of silt and mud, it quite often is.
5.3 The not-truth asymmetry
The stated ground is the relative size of the two sets, which does not establish the asymmetry. The actual ground is quantifier form: a universal claim requires confirming every case and is destroyed by one counterexample.
The privilege is conditional and inverts for existentials. “There exists a black swan” is established by one observation and refuted only by exhausting the search space. Stating it as a function of quantifier form converts an aphorism into a theorem, and explains why it works so well in practice: scientific laws are universals.
Note: establishing a falsehood is establishing a truth. Every refutation rests on positive observation. What is asymmetric is how many positive facts are required, not whether any are.
5.4 Genuine truths do not conflict
True elements are harmonious; contradictions arise from the false content mixed into partial accounts. Reality is one.
5.5 Predictive success and truth content
As written, this contradicts section 5.4 of the published mathematical proof, which concedes that mutually incompatible theories can satisfy L, M, and E and that at most one is true. Empirically equivalent theories have identical predictive success and different truth content. Ptolemaic epicycles predicted well for fourteen centuries. The unreliability of backtesting is a concession that success does not track truth, offered alongside the claim that it does.
Predictive success is evidence of some truth content, but the mapping is neither monotone nor a measure. A false model can outpredict a truer one in a restricted domain. This must be settled before the text says anything precise about the instruments.

"True elements are harmonious"
An exceptionally useful point, especially if one remembers what a paradox actually is.
Actual disharmony or a vague sense of dissonance is prime launching target for investigating a particular, to find a particular fracture point or avoid installing a weakness.
Triveritas is very nicely tuned for evaluation of harmonics. Nice!
Of course while dangerous, a person of greater qualities needs fewer puzzle pieces to make sense, but hunting the trails of dissonance and harmony should allow people to punch above their weight on occasion.
Sense made, the evaluation can not only be under triveritas scrutiny but continually compared to the nature of other passing points of data.
This potentially allows items that are unrelated at first glance to still have use compared to each other.
If something hasn't the "shape" of Truth, then within or without there's something amiss, even if it's just a error of judgement or merely an underbaked comprehension.
The usual wariness applies, but even without the rigour of the full methods Vox is developing, following harmonics alone will give decent legs.
Loving this series.
Looks like the last sentence got snipped prematurely.
